Win A Luxury Farm Stay with Farm Hand

Farm Hand Organic Wine has discussed how it’s lending a hand to regional Australia during these difficult times.

The wine range, part of the Fourth Wave Wine portfolio, is sponsoring a farmer-led charity called Carbon8, which provides education, community engagement and services – helping farmers transition to regenerative agriculture.

“The more demand there is from everyday Australians for organic, the more farmers will transition to regenerative agriculture,” said Ross Marshall, general manager, Fourth Wave Wine. “This equals more carbon in the soil, which in turn means better food and a better environment for all.”

“With the helping hand of Farm Hand Wines, we are paving the way for the future regeneration of our farms and of our farming communities,” said Helen McCosker, co-founder and director, Carbon8.

Farm Hand has also launched a farm stay promotion to help reignite visitation to regional communities.

“We have teamed up with a range of diverse Farm Stays across Australia to offer six fully catered holidays including accommodation, transfers and meals as a consumer promotion running nationally through participating retailers,” said Ross.

“We are also supporting local food producers with runners’ up prizes of gourmet produce hampers. It’s very pleasing to be able to support communities that, like many, could use a hand.

As a wine producer, regional Australia is very important for us, as are our customers.” Farm Hand Wines are grown by the Grigoriou family, fourth generation wine growers, from almost one hundred acres of Organic Vineyards in the Monash Valley of South Australia. The fertile soil is home to well-established vines, which are up to 30 years old, are planted widely for good airflow to minimise disease pressure. Minimal drip-irrigation ensures low yielding fruit with rich flavours and varietal expressiveness.

To take part in the Farm Stay promotion, consumers purchase a bottle of Farm Hand, scan the QR code on the neck tag and are given a unique key in which they try to unlock the Farm Hand farmgate. For further information, visit: www.farmstaywithfarmhand.com or @farmhandorganicwines on Instagram.
